TRR had similar move after announcing 10g/ton Au

also from GNH board

The VVC Exploration NR, under the "History and Mineralization" heading, states: "The Beauce area, and the Eastern Townships in general, situated in the southern Quebec Appalation belt, have a century long history of mining, and is known for its chromite and copper deposits and gold placers".

I have seen a number of references to the ROF chromite deposits as being the only source of chromite in North America. I recall that this claim was made by Ontario Government bodies, amongst others. It appears this factoid may not be l00% true.

May we assume if this area is known for its chromite deposits, that it could become a mineable source of this mineral? Or is this merely a geological curiosity? Have there been chromite and/or copper mines here in the past? There is a possible plus here for developers in that deposits which are currently uneconomic to mine could become a source of revenue within the life span of gold mines which may be opened consequent to the current staking rush.
