I received a nice pm from a fellow Agoracom investor. He reiterated to me that one of his investor friends upon hearing about Noront said something like "Noront what?"
Here's what I replied. I don't think he will mind.
"A lot of investors on the Agoracom board are bummed out because the share price isn't spiking up.
There's a fundamental reason why it isn't: Noront's name isn't out there. The Noront 'brand' is synonomous with the [food retailer's] No Frills Noname brand. [That's right, noname.]
Time for the big board TSX. And it's time to do some marketing. Joanne Jobin needs to get her pretty little butt in gear, and start some smart [marketing]. This isn't rocket science."
