CLF would have to distance themselves from the KWG board in the case of a takeover attempt by themselves, and it does appear that is what is in the cards.
The really intriguing thing though is FNC. Mac Watson could be said to be associated with CLF from FWR days, and he has just resigned. Also they announced the cancellation of the proposed PP they were doing, even though it was close to filled. Also consider that they were supposedly chasing nickel, rather than chrome, and that they are rumored to have completed 16 holes. The nickel holes were supposed to be deep holes, and the time frame and cost would suggest that they could only have finished 5-6 holes if they were deep. However, if they drilled 16 shallow holes, they must be chasing something close to the surface, and that smells like chrome.
The next move I am waiting for is some interesting release from SPQ and/or NOT, but what could it say?
Best regards
