There are many who think that large scale dilution comes with the decision to open a mine. This is NOT the case. Mine financing is NOT done with selling shares in the company but with the morgage of its assets. You don't need to sell more shares but to borrow on the resource or pre sell the resource. Selling 2 billion dollars of a multi billion dollar resource in advance at a locked in rate is common.
