Sober New Year OT

The board is quiet and I have a funny (I think) New Year's story for New Year Cheer.

New Year's Eve, My hubby and I decided to have a drink of spiced rum my daughter had left behind at Christmas...Hubby smelled it, and said, "It doesn't smell spicy". I said, "It doesn't smell spicy to me either". I poured a small amount into a glass and tasted water.

I sent an e-mail thanking my daughter and assuring her we had had a very sober New Year's eve.

A good New Year's laugh for us and I hope for you too.

P.S. Related to NOT, no, but one never knows when water may be turned into wine. My New Year's wish for NOT and the bottle of water in the booze cabinet.
