The Indigo Love of Reading Foundation was founded by Indigo Books in 2004 to address the limited resources in elementary school libraries and the resulting literacy crisis. Jennifer and her team wear two hats: running the Foundation and representing Indigo’s CSR arm. Jennifer spent her 20’s ‘dating’ industries in Toronto and Asia and then returned to Canada for her MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business. Following that Jennifer worked at CIBC Small Business marketing and sponsorship and then joined the CIBC Corporate Sponsorship team that ran the CIBC Run for the Cure and Weekend to End Breast Cancer. This is where she ‘fell in love’ with CSR and knew what she was meant to do. Jennifer joined Love of Reading almost four years ago as its first full time employee; a passionate reader since she was 10, Love of Reading is a perfect blend of her head and heart.
