"Norman Brewster's Cadillac Ventures Inc. (CDC), unchanged at five cents on 36,000 shares, has an amended agreement to acquire the remaining 49 per cent of the Burnthill tungsten project in New Brunswick from Noront Resources Ltd. (NOT: $0.31) for $1.8-million over the next 3.5 years. Cadillac has been nibbling (and amending) at Burnthill since it acquired an option on the project in 2007. Cadillac currently has a 51-per-cent interest and it will expand to 65 per cent soon, through the payment of $225,000 in cash and $275,000 worth of stock. At last report -- four years ago when Noront still had some enthusiasm for the project -- Burnthill held a largely underground resource of 1.76 million tonnes indicated at 0.29 per cent tungsten oxide, 0.008 per cent tin oxide and 0.007 per cent molybdenum sulphide, with another 1.52 million tonnes inferred at roughly comparable grades."
