The courts ruled in Feb 2016 that Canada Chrome (KWG) (or anyone else) DID NOT have surface rights on the claims it staked to secure the ‘high ground’ on the north-south route for a possible railway corridor to the ROF.  Canada Chromes (KWG) appeal was rejected.

NOT has not made an application to the Mining and Lands Commissioner for surface rights for  north-south road easement on the Canada Chrome claims.

NOT is working with Matawa First Nation for the environmental assessment for the NS road between the trans Canada Highway and Mattawa FN reserve.  

NOT is working with Webique First Nation on a environmental assessment on a road connecting Webique FN to The Eagles Nest area of ROF.   Webique FN is connected to Pickle lake via winter road and also has a airport.   It is likely that Webique will be the staging route for Eagle Nest development.

No one knows for sure what is going with the road for the section between the ROF and Matawa FN.
