On AMEX - NAK sp seeing a good pop at open. Pretty good volume for so early in the session showing someone wants in. Although sp is up, OBV dropped significantly today which shows distribution (selling), and OBV pretty much has been showing this since Mitsu sold off. MAC going Bullish while Stoch going Bearish. 14 Day MA is flattening, but 50 Day now showing downtrend beginning. Although sp is on a run, seems some more time needed for technicals to settle out.

S&P and Dow up. Market seems strong. Strong (?) employment numbers today although less than expected. Beware of these employment numbers, as many are getting much lower paying jobs. Overnight, the Nikkei, HSI, DAX and FTSE were up which might be part of the equation. Speculating that if S&P can break through 1330, maybe it will be back to all-Bull-all-the-time again. Mac in Bull mode while Stoch showing some weakness. OBV showing distribution. Russell 2k is up more than other Markets and might be considered a reasonable indicator that spec players are entering today.

Gold gapped up this morning at open as it traded up overnight. Hong Kong started buying about mid-way through their session then looked like profit taking towards the end. Then London really pumped up the price when HK closed. Gold price then started trending down at 8am et and then recently dumped during NYX session at about 10am et to currently sit at just under $1420.
