Message: NGC Graphite Purity and Flake Size

----------------------SH post------------

With respect to the Industrial Minerals article (20 Sept 2012) on price drop "has been exaggerated", the following should be noted. The article says:

- high purity, large flakes (+80) price is +$150/t above the IM price range; while

- low purity, medium flakes (-80 to +100) price is $150 below the IM price range.

Note also that purity and flakes size distribution of NGC Bissett Creek graphite are much better than those mentioned in the IM article. Purity is 98% Cg for their extra large/jumbo flakes (+50 and +32). 52% of the graphite is in the extra large and jumbo category. 23% of the graphite is in the large flake (+80) category with a purity of 95.1% Cg. High purity and extra/jumbo flakes, such are those from Bissett Creek, are in great demand hence would fetch top dollars. See link below for additional details.
