First Narrows Completes Initial Resource Definition Drilling Program on Chester Feeder Deposit
Last Update: 11/12/2007 10:00:59 AM

VANCOUVER, BC, Nov 12, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- First Narrows Resources Corp. (UNO) (PINKSHEETS: FNRWF) ("First Narrows" or the "Company") is pleased to report the completion of a delineation drilling program on the Chester Feeder Deposit which will form the basis for a mineral resource estimation compliant with National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101").

Drilling on the Chester project began in November 2006 and consists of 168 resource definition drill holes and 10 metallurgical holes for a total of 14,048 meters.

The definition drilling concentrated on close-spaced drill holes in the upper, near-surface, extent of the Feeder Deposit for the purpose of developing a mineral resource estimate primarily in the measured and indicated categories. The drilling concluded with a series of wider-spaced holes, at 12.5 meter by 25 meter spacing, stepping out to the west and down-dip along the Feeder Deposit. The Feeder Deposit remains open down dip to the west and, based on historical drilling results the stringer-zone type mineralization extends for approximately 600 meters beyond the drilled area referenced above.

Only the analytical results from the 2006-2007 resource definition drill holes are being included in the initial Chester resource estimate. The Company had expected to have the initial resource estimate completed by now, however, additional drilling was done and assaying of drill core samples is still in progress. Analytical results are pending on 38 definition drill holes and 7 metallurgical holes. Sample analysis is being expedited and results will be announced as soon as they become available. Once all results have been received, the resource estimate will be completed along with the associated NI 43-101 Technical Report. To review all the previously reported results from the resource drilling program (October 19, 2007, September 24, 2007, August 30, 2007, August 23, 2007, July 12, 2007, June 20, 2007, April 25, 2007, April 5, 2007, March 1, 2007, February 8, 2007, January 24, 2007, January 17, 2006, and January 11, 2006) visit the Company's website at: www.uno.ca .

Model of the Chester Feeder Deposit

Drill hole, analytical, and survey data received to date from the resource definition drilling program has been compiled to produce a 3-D model of the Chester Feeder Deposit. Three sub-parallel copper zones, exceeding a 1% Cu threshold, have been interpreted from the drilling results to date. To view the 3-D model visit the Company's website at: www.uno.ca

QA/QC

Quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of the Chester NI 43-101 qualifying mineral resource estimate drilling, analytical, and surveying programs are being monitored by independent consultants Mr. Robert Sim, P.Geo. and Mr. Bruce Davis. Mr. Earnest Brooks, P.Geo., is the Company's Qualified Person on the Chester Project. Mr. Brooks was formerly a Mine Geologist at the Patino Mines Copper Rand Mines Div. in Chibougamau, Quebec, and a mining operations geologist and exploration geologist at the BMS mines in Bathurst from 1975 to 1990.

The Chester resource estimate QA/QC program is set up to validate the data resulting from the drilling program. The analytical QA/QC program consists of the use of three types of "check" samples: standards, blanks, and duplicates. These check for lab accuracy, contamination, and repeatability. The Company has also established standard practices that commence prior to drilling, and follow through to tasks at the drill rig, at the core logging facility, and finally at the sampling facility. It is at the sampling stage that the check samples are randomly inserted into the sequence of core samples. 10 to 15% of all samples sent for analysis are QA/QC samples. Sample analysis is being carried out by Activation Laboratories Ltd. in Ancaster, Ontario. Samples are analyzed on a Varian Vista Pro ICP for Cu, Pb, Zn, and Ag using a method to which Activation Laboratories is accredited (ISO 17025 and CAN-P1579) by the Standards Council of Canada. Certified Canmet Reference Standards and OREAS reference standards are used as controls.

About the Chester Feeder Deposit

Based primarily on the historical drilling results, the Chester Feeder Deposit is an east-west trending gently west plunging cigar-shaped mineralized structure within an alteration zone approximately 75 meters (246 ft.) or more in thickness and greater than 200 meters (656 ft.) in width. It extends west of the current area of drilling for more than 800 meters (2,625 ft.). At the east end it lies close to surface and at its known western extent it is approximately 400 meters (1,322 ft.) below surface. The targets of the current resource estimate drilling program are one to three (or more) stacked, gently westerly inclined and northerly striking, sheet-like zones of higher-grade mineralization of variable thicknesses within the cigar-shaped feeder structure.

The Chester property is located in the southern part of the Bathurst Mining Camp approximately 53 kilometers (kms) west of Miramichi City, and 72 kms southwest of the city of Bathurst, New Brunswick.

About First Narrows Resources Corp.:
