Targeting High Grade Uranium on the Athabasca Trend

Message: FC News Release

The report was written by Reiner Stahlberg, Ph.D.

The tonnage calculation was based on the surface area (9000 square metres - 95x95 metres) of the present open pit to a depth of 10 metres (the height of the pit wall). The grade (0.01% BeO) is an average of the samples collected in the pit (0.03-0.18% BeO).

On rechecking the report I noticed that they were planning on a byproduct of scandium (Sc).

The in situ value (in 1987) of the expected ore was given as $77/ton BeO and $39.20 for Scandium oxide.

The scandium was obviously a significant byproduct.

Any one know what Sc is used for?
