Targeting High Grade Uranium on the Athabasca Trend
SOURCE: FIRST NARROWS RESOURCES CORP.
Locked Cycle Tests Have Been Completed and Will Be Reported Upon Shortly
VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - February 14, 2008) - First Narrows Resources Corp. (TSX-V: UNO) and (PINKSHEETS: FNRWF) ("First Narrows" or the "Company") is pleased to report that ongoing metallurgical tests being carried out by RPC (Research and Productivity Council) of Fredericton, NB on the Chester Feeder Deposit copper mineralization continue to produce very encouraging results.
Bulk sulphide floatation tests have been completed, the purpose of which was to investigate the effect of different grind sizes on the production of bulk sulphide concentrates. Two variable grind tests gave very high copper recoveries of 99.3%.
Rougher copper concentrates grading from 20-24% Cu were obtained from high grade mineralization (5.7 to 8.5% Cu), while a low grade head sample (1.65% Cu) gave a rougher sulphide concentrate of 10.4% Cu. The various head grades had no effect on the copper recoveries, which also were very high at 99.3%.
The total sulphur level in the rougher floatation tail was exceptionally low at 0.06% S, which may minimize tailings acid generation and environmental impact.
Cleanings of bulk rougher sulphide concentrate, produced from 2.43% Cu blended mineralization, yielded clean Cu concentrates grading up to 31% Cu.
Seven drill holes (C-07-180 to 182 and 186 to 189) were drilled in the fall of 2007 to obtain a 200 kg sample for a locked cycle test for final Chester mill flow sheet design by RPC. The locked cycle tests, completed during January, will be reported upon shortly.

About the Chester Feeder Deposit
The Chester Feeder Deposit is an east-west trending, gently west plunging, and cigar-shaped mineralized structure within an alteration zone that is approximately 75 meters (246 ft.) or more in thickness and greater than 200 meters (656 ft.) in width. It extends west of the current area of drilling for more than 600 meters (2,625 ft.). At the east end, it lies close to the surface and at its known western extent it is approximately 400 meters (1,322 ft.) below the surface. The targets of the current resource estimate drilling program are one to three (or more) stacked, gently westerly inclined, and northerly striking, sheet-like zones of higher-grade mineralization of variable thicknesses that are within the cigar-shaped feeder structure. The Chester property is located in the southern part of the Bathurst Mining Camp approximately 53 kilometers (kms) west of Miramichi City, and 72 kms southwest of the city of Bathurst, New Brunswick.
About First Narrows Resources Corp.:
