if this is true then what is the price that they would offer for oilexco. Will the premium reflect the company's growth?

I think the best merger will be with talisman as it has a very aggressive growth program and oilexco will just sky rockets it output growth. Therefore if this happens then i can see tlm stock to be trading at about $20 when oil trading at about $70

I am just keeping my hopes up for oilexco and i will let God do the rest
