I heard just a snippet of what must have been a LaHood interview on NPR this morning. The piece I heard said that 43 states now have some form of distracted driving laws. He was talking about seat belts and the resistance to that, and now here we are with 85% of the people using them. Then there was the drinking and driving and now we have stiff laws against that.

Both campaigns took time. This will take time, he said, but it will get here. So...the Feds are pushing this issue.

This is in our company's wheel house...let's hope they swing, even if they swing and miss!!
