We can tell you that it is much more than it seems… That is, it does not concern only the artistic part of a “pixelated” drawing, but a real coding activity useful for creating a drawing using a symbolic programming language.

Children will have to count the white and colored squares to be able to reproduce an image following instructions, then an algorithm. We think it is a perfect activity to do at home, just print the pdf you find below: some symbolic characters of the Carnival are waiting for you and the challenge will be to reproduce them by following the instructions indicated in the respective indications. Your children can do it alone or in pairs with a parent or brother / sister who read the instructions while they color.
