International PBX Ventures Retains Former KORES Executive VP as Strategic Advisor
VANCOUVER, B.C. - International PBX Ventures Ltd. ("PBX" or the "Company") (TSX.V:PBX) is pleased to announce that it has retained the services of Mr. Seok Jin Song as Strategic Advisor to represent the interests of International PBX Ventures Ltd. and Chilean Metals Exploration Ltd. in Korea. Mr. Song resides in Seoul Korea and will assist in developing investment opportunities within the Korean mining and investment communities.
Mr. Song is a Geologist with a Master of Geology degree from Korea University, Korea. He has worked for KORES (Korea Resources Corporation) for over 29 years. From 2000 to 2004 Mr. Song held KORES's China office before leading the Overseas Energy department. For the last two years he has served as Executive Vice President in charge of the Business Development division. As Executive Vice President he oversaw the acquisition of Far West Mining Ltd. and its Santa Domingo IOCG project in Chile in a partnership with Capstone Mining Corp. (Capstone 70% -KORES 30%).
He also oversaw the partnership between KORES and the Korean mining and smelting company LS-Nikko Copper Inc. that jointly acquired a 20% ownership of Inmet Mining Corporation's Cobre Panama project .
