The cheap options are important. Yes, I agree in the end that this company should make most of us quite wealthy, however, if they were able to manipulate the price to deliver options under .50, what will they manipulate the stock price to for the next move?

Personally, I'm keeping all my records on how this thing has traded, just in case. Everyone should be concerned about manipulation, because it affects everyone. It goes on all the time and many (including the authorities...see silver) ignore it.
