Hi Aves,

I had to hit the recommend button on your post because I couldn't find anything wrong with it. Mainly this is becasue it is almost exactly what I said regarding the comparison between a garden variety RS and a NAS listing with a reduced OS.

At this point I have to say that we are way overblown on this topic. I can picture Chu rubbing his temples and going to his happy place as we take his hypothetical statement and put it through the ringer again and again.

The bottom line is that Chu suggested a hypothetical scenario based on your suggestion that POET could license POET (how awkward it it to have the comapnay named for the technology they developed) creating a more muted incline in the SP, versus a big buyout. We are imagining that POET will need to get serious and list on the NAS after some event occured which changed the nature of OPEL from an idea into a money maker.

Having said that, Chris did say IPO, not a RS. A company would IPO if they needed money and, lo and behold, POET *will* need money about the time when the "liquidity event" is set to occur. Consider also that MB was heard to say there wouldn't be another AGM next year. To me, this all points to a scenario where POET moves onto another exchange, using Atomic to help raise cash in a road show to eventually buy our shares for a price we accepted through a vote (theoretically - it'll be the big boys who make our decision for us) and finally to list as POET.q on NASDAQ.
