Just to add some context about the post, there is no mechanism to delete a post by any poster who has achieved the rank of president without reporting a violation. Just in case anyone might get the idea that I was unwilling, rather than unable to do so. I also mentioned you could try to report fairchij's post as a violation and I might be able to do something. . .
Having said that, there is something to be said about having respected posters gain more control over the content on the board. In order to earn points you must consistently post without violations and to do it faster, you must contribute positively to the AGORA community. AFAIK, fairchij had a rank of president long before most of us migrated here, and for good reason.
As for the rest of your post, I agree that where it stands now POET couldn't list on NASDAQ. Based on you math you are correct, we would need to RS 1:10 and have a tenth of the shares out. Not enough liquidity - right again!
I think the problem arose because of the way it was written. You made 2 good points, but then you started talking about issuing more paper and us getting screwed. This made it sound like you were predicting disaster and coupled with the MDG complaint and comparison with OPEL's prospects you can understand why many posters got defensive.

Again, at the risk of sounding repetitive, we are taking what Chris said far too deeply into the realm of reality right now, IMO. Remember: Chris was simply replying to a statement Aves made about what *might* happen when POET begins earning. So we are arguing details of a hypothetical outcome of a hypothetical scenario. By my count it's currently 3 degrees from reality.
If a company sees POET and becomes enamoured as I think they might, we could get bought out before POET even makes a dime. That would make all this talk about listing on NASQAQ, RS, etc. moot.
