It is highly likely that supply (ie. production) will follow demand very closely on any commodity with decent market value. It appears both Ga and As are by products of numerous industrial processes and will be captured if a profit can be made. It is not like these chips require massive amounts of each to be made...(although hopegfully the qty made will be huge for our sake). Net- I am not worried about supply.

Rob, I don't know if you have an indication from source on your assumptions regarding Mansfield - you likely won't comment either way. It is a bit wishfull thinking if not (but not unreasonable) - if true- Apple is the #1 aquirer of POET for the simple fact they can realize the benefits in many different ways, thus seeing more perceived value in the tech + have massive wealth. 2-4B is a drop in bucket for Apple.
