Great interview with Dr. Taylor! Great opportunity for him to point out all the advantages of the POET platform – each multiple times, so that the fast reader grasps them, too. I don't need to refrain them, as we are those in the know.
Dr. T. also gives hints to quantum computing, e.g. noticing a paradigm shift to "(a) optical device integration and novel optoelectronic device functions as the basis for new circuit concepts and (b) the emergence of quantum computing as a key enabler in digital design."
While a discussion of cost savings and efficiency can be found through the whole article, Taylor quantifies them for optoelectronic devices. He cites cost savings for the manufacturer of about 80 percent compared with today's hybrid silicon technology. – I'd say, take a quarter of these cost savings, turn them into a license stream for us, and you get an idea where the journey might go.
This interview makes me very optimistic again regarding our company's future. Did it already have any impact on the share price? Well, no.
