Reading the white paper is a nice boost-again. It never hurts to read this once in a while. I can't imagine the speed and efficiency of the long term solution at 20nm in monolithic design. All at a lower cost. This must be massively attractive to anyone in the semi industry.
There is an excellent chance some semiconductor execs, after reading the white paper, are asking their labs to see how long it will take them to build something this, likely trying out some things in their labs over the recent months. I am no techie, but it appears to be they soon find out it would take many years or likely decades (Taylor's work) to build the patented items of POET.
When we demonstrate (if not done already) that the optical piece is just matter of time (or soon to be complete -the 'show me' aspect that remains for the optical piece )... the offers have to come in bunches -if only for pure defence of their existing business.
I hope POET does not sell out too early not to maximize on the financial impact of the optical portion. I believe once optical has hit that critical proof point to the bidders-the auction hits. Likely in Q1 of next year. Hopefully our SP is well north of $2 by then.
The more i think about, the more our current SP means nothing (right now). 6-9 months to go...
