What people fail to realize or just dont care about is that selective disclosure works both ways. You may be happy about being privy to "inside" positive information being shared with you now, but don't think for a moment that you'll be in line for any negative information until the holder has already acted on it himself.

It's a double edged sword, and the person receiving the information is never the one holding the hilt.
