I'm new to this board but have put in my two cents from time to time on SB. In my opinion I believe that Intel's comments are simply in reference to the current state of evolution within the market. Their statement is in response to where they currently stand and where they hope to be going forward. I don’t think that any of their comments are in reference to POET.

That said, if POET has approached goliath, this is happening behind closed doors. There is no need for Intel to make public statements denying what POET may have. I personally don’t believe in the idea that ‘Intel is trying to everything in their power to supress the stock price’.

My take on the current situation is that POET has been speaking to the right people and because of this their milestones were altered. One of the bigger players probably said show me 100nm and discussions can get serious. Either that or in speaking with consultants or other individuals within the market they decided that this additional step was necessary in order to provide more tangible proof.

I am an investor and have been for quite some time now. I believe in what POET is doing otherwise would not be taking the time to post on this board. However, my biggest concern is the fact that, although POET may have the goods, convincing giant’s to alter their course is never an easy task. For the time being, I would be content to see MS5-7 complete with a military deal in order to provide for short-term cash flow. Post Q3, I would like to see achievement of milestone 8 in Q4 with a ramp up in PR thereafter while keeping us little guys as much informed as possible.
