This is something that has been discussed on this board when anticipating other BAE MS, that is, whether a 3rd party can be compelled to adhere to POET's timelines.

Unfortunately, often those who suggest such anthing have been criticized for their choice of eyewear (that being the rose-coloured variety). For that reason their views don't carry nearly the kind of heft that a statement from the company would have.
