It is understandably concerning, at first glance, when we see the possibility of Insider Selling.

However, we have been here before when Insider Selling was suspected but was ultimately unfounded.

So we know (thanks Chris) that no POET insiders have sold.

To my recollection that only leaves Sheldon as a possibility; which personally I doubt is the case. When Sheldon last sold, his selling signature was much more aggressive and he had good reason to, due to the fundamentals of the company which at that time were scary to say the least.

Now however, the company fundamentals are completely different; strong balance sheet, cash for more that 12 months at current burn rate and, albeit slightly late, MS5 and MS7 due, with the additional MS8 (industry dictated) due before Christmas.

So why would Sheldon sell? Although I could be wrong, I doubt he would sell just because MS5 and MS7 are a couple of weeks late. There is too much potential positive news pending over the next 10 weeks or so.

Bottom line is if we do not see the Insider Trading listing today or tomorrow at the latest, it would have been another broker marker error.

Any ex-employee who sells shares but has not advised their broker they are no longer an insider, the reporting process is automatic but transpires to be false.

There are a handful of ex-employees who could fall into this category.

So we all watch with a sharp eye, but I expect this to be another false alarm.

I hope my thought process is accurate.
