mcnabbapa, don't knock it until you try it. There are computer algorithms that generate trades on low volume venture stocks based on technicals. I have been trading on technicals on the venture for a number of years, and it works pretty darn good most of the time.

Considering very few venture stocks have death defying material news events these days, technicals work very well in the absence of news and in the few days after NRs like the one we just had.
