Forgive the formatting. I'm on my phone right now because the CPU fan went on my laptop. It's in pieces with new fan enroute. Can't wait til my laptop is "Powered by POET". : ) Remember this from the October 21, 2013 news release? "POET Development Alliance (PDA) - To date, POET has met with several large-scale technology firms who have expressed interest in jointly adapting POET to commercial scale implementation." The words "several large scale technology firms" to me mean 3 or more firms are interested. The next sentence in that news release said, "Some of these potential alliance partners have already provided input into POET's alignment of resources, notably with respect to our technical roadmap." So they received input from "Some of these potential alliance partners"(note: plural and confirms that at least 3 firms are involved and possibly more). The fact that, according to the NR, they have many large-scale technology firms expressing interest in jointly developing POET tells me that we really have something here. The only other point I'd like to make is I don't think it's clear from the NR whether the firms want to develope POET "jointly" with us ( POET Technologies Inc.) or with each other. Either way, PTI may not be in the drivers seat but they definitely have one hand firmly gripping the steering wheel and the other on the emergency brake. For those that have seen Dragon's Den or Shark Tank you know what it means when all the dragons or sharks start sending knowing glances and trying not to be left out of an imminent deal. IMO we are very close to that bidding war or some variation of it and it is going to be a lot of work for management to navigate the next few months. I'm getting more confident everyday and look forward to the outcome. Green PS: Again, sorry for the formatting. I know it's not going to look as neat as it is now after I push the 'submit' button.
