SP holding up well

I was concerned that the options granted NR might not be taken too well by the market, seems to not be a factor at the moment. Puzzles me somewhat that the options don't expire for a full 5yrs. Could this indicate a change of final direction, maybe morph into a holding type operation collecting royalties, profit shares, etc off the patents?
