Regarding milestone dates not met, milestone dates not adjusted in the Corporate Presentation (CP), etc. please let us be enlighted by that boring legal stuff on page 2 titled "Safe Harbour".
Once we understand what "forward-looking statements" are and understand POET's milestone plan in the CP is a forward-looking statement, hopefully we also understand that the management is neither bound to deliver milestones on time and that they are not even required to notify us about that. I agree very much that more information from our company would be very desirable, but, well, they don't have to.
Some quotes from the CP that IMO speak for themselves (highlighting by me):
- Forward-looking statements are subject to risks, uncertainties, assumptions and are not guarantees of future results, but rather reflect current views with respect to future events.
- Readers should not place undue reliance on any forward-looking statements.
-
We disclaim any obligation to update or revise any forward looking statements, except as required by law to reflect any change in expectations, events, conditions or circumstances on which any of the forward looking statements are based, or that may affect the likelihood that actual results will differ from those set forth in the forward-looking statements.
