Lets listen to what analyst Tom Gidley-Kitchin says: "Since ARM chips for servers are cheaper, consume less power and require lower cooling compared with Intel chips, they would be very attractive for Google." This could result in massive savings for Google.
Cheaper, less power – we know what we associate these keywords with!
Now add faster to the list. And add roughly an order of magnitude to "cheaper", "less power" and "faster". Imagine what Google could save even more, how attractive this would be and much money they would shell out for such a technology!
