Fiveniner, I'm sure this one will be answered before I'm done typing.....but this is my answer to the licensing vs. buyout question.
Licensing would mean revenue, which would mean POET would be a money making company....which brings in speculative buying buy funds and other big money. Price goes up, we move to NASDAQ, price moves up some more.....global recognition, news stories...more speculative buying.....stock splits etc.......all the while the sp would move up.
Americans are lunatics when it comes to tech stocks and stocks in general. Most of the big stocks in the U.S. are trading at 20-40x earnings.....that's nuts....but it could be us if we stick around long enough.
A buyout means we all get payed sooner, but with less chance of a ridiculously high stock price............all imo as they say.
