I agree with TechGC about POET getting taken out before any product roll out.

When then OPEL came out and said they wanted to unload the company in a liquidity event, they were essentially, and perhaps unwittingly, devaluing themselves! Now the very clever SSC have completely changed the tune to licensing, multiple markets, etc etc. By doing so, they've increased the percieved value of POET, and it's future potential. Now they need to get those PDA's in place, start making agreements with the manufacturers, and start creating revenue.

That's when every other chip maker will start to realize that they simply can't afford to allow POET products to be in someone elses hands. If the SSC played their cards correctly, there will be multiple suitors, who are desperate to have POET all to themselves. And like I've mentioned before based on an article about older tech companies desperately trying to keep up with the Jone's, someone WILL overpay. Whether that's 10 billion or more remains to be seen, but we've seen overspending on so many Tech companies in the past, none of which actually POWER the devices.
