...don't be fooled. If POET gets a great offer for the company - they will sell. This should not be seen as negative. I would like to think they have a floor of $4-$5 (my numbers) for the company with upside of $XX? POET needs, and will proceed to go full force at becoming a production ready fabless licensor. They pose to be a major disruptive threat the closer they get to market with catalogued products. There is a good chance they will get taken out before the first POET chip ships (IMO). As we all know, the key is getting many bidders wanting the tech and letting the press releases fly with the right timing and audience. With the SRP they will have 60 days to get the best offer from the first legitimate bid.
I agree with sevendouble. $10 is attainable, but the stars would have to allign a bit for us. An offer from $4-$10+ would likley get approved by the shareholders. Either way, I am happy - I hope all of you will be too.
