That presntation by Robert Cowell was interesting FJ ,but taken at such a gallop that I fell at most fences.
What stood out for me was the point made regarding the significant investment in tools fabs represent, leaving me thinking that the ability to construct POET chips using exisying tools will be a significant selling point.
The other phrase was 'follow the money' a well worn cliche but key to who you approach, given that it is; how much am I going to make out of this investment ? that will be a principle rational behind who might buy POET. POET has a strong case here, Particularly on the Power issue which was strongly emphasised.
I was also struck by the complexity of development and the need to partition areas of complexity. My thought was that POET may not have the time nor manpower resources to take the route of developing a product in house - PDA' are essential and the take over/aquisition route more probalble.
