I agree, Aves. I'd also be surprised if something substantial (i.e. more than an MS 5+7 news release) would be announced before the Global Semiconductor Forum.

On the other hand it is not at all clear to me which role Peter Copetti will play at the GSF, or if at all. The only thing we know is that Peter is "welcomed on board". This fact is featured rather prominently in the "Latest News" section of the GSF homepage. However, there's no more info than just this welcome message – no further explanations, nothing. Peter does not appear as a speaker nor can you find his name in the programme, although there are still some presentations without giving the speaker's name. You will, however, see POET is a sponsor, but only as one among 54, and no representative of the other sponsors is welcomed "on board".

Well, maybe POET is the only company being a new GSF sponsor. However, that welcome message stands out and somehow does not fit among the other messages in the "Latest News" section. The other messages describe what the GSF is and how it works. The welcome message is a completely different type of message. It is a mystery to me. But maybe the explanation is simple, and they just don't maintain their website well.
