That's an interesting point. I guess this is also why they put 4 month holds on PPs. Funds that participate in PPs are allowed to get information from the company that normally wouldn't be available to others, so they can do their DD before investing.

The price for that DD is the 4 month hold on their funds. It's debatable whether that is fair to other shareholders, but it is what it is.
