On the basis that you are being interviewd as the next POET CEO you are given the following scenario at your interview.
You must sign off the next POET NR. You are waiting for the confirmation of some technical aspect of the testing program to complete the NR, but the SP is dithering. (1) You could make the annoucment that MS #5 and MS #7 will be released in 3 to 5 weeks, or (2) you could say nothing at all about MS timelines until they are complete and thourghly tested in all aspects.

What course of action do you feel gives POET Managment the most credibility? (1) or (2)
Touche ' StokkerO,
I'll give the problem you set a go!
If I took option 1, I could be in exactly in the same position in 3 weeks time if testing still failed to come up to par or my potential partner still called a further delay. This would just trigger yet more unnecessary winging from a few but I can live with that knowing what is in the PR pipeline for them.
Taking option two I feel would leave the comany with all credibility intact, Knowing that the discerning investors will have done their DD and actually read our January NR where it was stated that ,because of the involvement of third parties, MS timings must be considered as guidlines and not gurantees.
I believe that the purpose of POET managments is to focus on delivering a quality disruptive product to the World of computing and not overly worry about Share Price at this stage the SP will follow a successful product launch which will stun the IT world.
For these reasons IMO Opion 2 is the best course.
Do I get the job Sir,
Oh! and how many share options did you say Im to have?
