In my opinion this quantum stuff has to be translated into applications first. Few people would buy a quantum computer just because it is cool to have a quantum computer. They would rather buy devices that solve their problems, being them quantum computers or not.
At present I don't see any advantage of having a quantum computer as my smartphone. But I am surely willing to learn, and I am sure there are persons on this board who are smarter than I and can explain to me everything about all those cool quantum applications I'd be happy to use.
We need to have such a translation first, then we can think about market potential and associated $$ clubs.
