Have seen a lot written with respect to a possible buy-out and the $70 club etc but what if there were to be a distribution in kind? We all get shares in an equivalent number of the buyer's shares (or at a determined ratio). The advantage being that those who do not want to keep holding can sell (Intel for example is at $24.50) or those that want to reap the benefit of what the new technology will have on the buyer's future revenue just keep holding.

That said, it is probably wise for the true believers in this technology to purchase shares of the buyer to reap further benefit.
