This is the issue I'm trying to come to grips with. Why would a partner come in, strike a deal, if there's any chance the whole kit and kaboodle could be taken out with an offer? If you're a foundry, what's ultimately in it for you? In the end, are you the bait that lures the big fish, or are you the big fish in the first place...that perhaps has the right of first refusal, or ability to match? I have no prior experience in this type of thing, and I doubt most people do...because major disruptive technology is rare.


And what kind of percentages should we expect here? POET intellectual property and patent ownership, vs what a partner would get out of the deal? What's the cut?
