Aves,

I think your genuine concerns of a low offer buyout are shared by the majority of this board. But I think that the principle holders of this share, which I understand to be institutions, where management know like ourselves that in the world of computing today we frequently observe IT Companies being bought out for billions of dollars, and have a longer term view on this investment.

Whilst it is difficult to compare IT software start ups to hardware companies, I think on this board we think in order of magnitudes for value and not in detail as we intrinsically know the POET is unique, special and has a latent long term value that can only be expressed in orders of magnitude. Peligrino the second will put more flesh on this, but in my opinion there will be many other matters that they cannot factor in, such as a bidding war or the perfect strorm that many of us see brewing in the industry.

Timing is a vital element of investment, who but an impatient wanabe rich quick sort of guy, would sell out today fully knowing that downline, and perhaps in the not too far future. The chink of dollars will be heard in POETs tills, this sound will change POETs image significantly. I think those institutions buying now have clear strategies, an eye to the future and they, like us, know that Patience is a virtue.

In the meantime the steady daily growth of the SP will appear very wholesome to the discerning invester, unless that is your name is Joel blinded by the burning bush.
