Maing, I know what the definition of quantum computing is. What I'd like to learn is what its applications are and how the details of these applications would look like. The only concrete example I know of is security.

But I admit that security is surely a very, very important thing and highly desired application! Probably it would already be sufficient to have quantum security as the only quantum application available in your POET chip as it would enable Joe User to encrypt his online communication in a safe manner.
