Dear dash8400,
You are quite correct. The starting point is low and, perhaps, too low. However, if you start higher, based on the assumptions I made (doubling revenue every year and an expanding market), you rapdily end up with gigantic figures. Within 7 years, starting at 1% of market, you have taken over this huge market and your annual revenues are something approaching 1 trillion per annum.
This would be a fantastic achievment, it would enable me to not just be rich but to enjoy the status of a billionaire. Share price would be in the $1000's, and I could write witty comments to this forum, on a golden PC, using a platinum keyboard and diamond encrusted mouse, in the mahogany state room of my 250 foot yacht, in the harbour at Monaco, just before dining with other members of this super elite forum. I could not be at Las Vegas to join the $70 club, because my 747 is on loan to the President of the U S of A which has been grounded by starting problems.
So, I underestimated the start to produce a more realistic view, but my point is, look at the figures and see what an opportunity there is for this company. If there is anything like this performance then hold on! Ride the crests of the very large waves arriving on shore.
