Message: Industry acceptance...

Hello fellow POET investors,

First I'd like to thank all the hub leaders for keeping this a forum where an exchange of information can be maintained without the usual hyping or bashing as seen on other message boards.

Some background. On the recommendation of a friend, bought shares of this company about 4 years ago when it was Opel. Been through the ups and downs since then but happy to see that the POET part of the company has done well.

My understanding of the physics of POET isn't as great as some of the members on here, please correct me in that case. With current technology, Moore's Law seem to be reaching its limit and this is where POET comes in. With POET's faster, cheaper and more efficient technology (if it meets all the targets) it seems ready for the ever growing market of computers, cell phones and maybe the next step of nano technology. My question is (my apologies if someone has already asked before, in which case please refer me to the message) how easy is it for the industry to accept this new technology (costs, logistics) and have it implemented. As a comparison and I realize I may be comparing apples and oranges, there's a company called Ballard Power back some time. They had fuel cell technology that seemed ready to be an alternative to gas consumption. With environmental concerns on the rise, fuel cell technology appeared to meet market demands but the majority are still using gas.

Looking forward to feedback on this. Thanks!
