I think that's the main reason we're seeing what we're seeing. I originally anticipated this selloff to hit next week, perhaps right after the EC presentation. But when I saw all the warrants being exercised, well, I'm guessing those people were told that this week would be a good week to take profits. As to the company's statement that they asked people to exercise - maybe they did ask some, and those people may just be a little miffed this morning.
I was hoping this stock would not act like a typical micro-cap, venture exchange issue, but it has, same shenanigans going on here as are widespread and common.
Understand, this does not necessarily reflect on the viability of the tech, just means that with POET's higher profile, we will be susceptible to more of the market games that hit most all these types of companies.
And, as far as I know. we haven't even gotten into the financial media in any significant way. As we rise in profile, we will get more and more coverage, and then you'll see support from some and nasty hit pieces from others. Prepare yourselves, the financial bloggers and commentators are some of the most disingenous people on earth, they are bought and paid by people who want to manipulate stocks, either up or down or both.
