For weeks, everyone was happy with one another and supportive. Notice what has happened since Thursday. It has devolved from a love-fest (that was unrealistic, forced, and even a tad sychophantic), to back-biting, sniping, intolerance, you know, the kind of stuff you see on the SH board or Yahoo boards on a daily basis. Even if the stock has not hit bottom (absolutely no idea there), I really hope the demeanor of this board has hit bottom and will rebound even faster than our share price.
Assuming no bad news has leaked, then this selloff while dramatic, is within the realm of a reasonable, albeit strong, correction, after an incredibly strong and dramatic run-up. It's as if everyone that wanted in was in as of last Thursday morning, and there just weren't enough buyers remaining, but still a lot of sellers, including some who had just exercised their warrants and wanted to make sure they were ready if the fundamental news was either not good or not released as quickly as anticipated.
Believe me, this stuff happens, and it's happened to stocks I've been in several times, I just wish it hadn't happened to POET. Hollywood Nights lyrics - could be an allegory for the saga of many Venture stocks.
Would just love to get a good NR prior to EC and have the POET team knock the socks right off the attendees. I wonder what those bluebloods will think of the recent behavior of the stock, though? If we remain anywhere close to the current share price, I hope they think they are lucky to be getting an attractive entry point.
