Stop losses

It has been mentioned by some here that the stop loss positions /numbers can be seen . Is that a fact and if so it would be interesting to see how many were triggered today. May help to explane the drop to these levels if a stop loss is sold into market. Thanks in advance for any explanations from those in the know.
