This post is just a random thought i had last night and might be way off in left field. But I thought it might be worth while writing.
One subject I have not read alot about on this board is what a " disruptive " tech really means.
IMO, to touch on the matter, I feel the word " disruptive " is what could really drive poet to extreme levels.
For example, if company "A" lets say for Apple, adopts poet and builds the first quantum computer.
Then companies "B-Z++++" are left behind using old tech. Also companies B-Z are still using security firewalls and 128-256 bit encryption code, say for ie, your bank.
I'm not a tech geek but I would assume having a quantum computer at your disposal could in theory render 128-256 encryption security obsolete.
This is where the other side of the coin comes into play. " the fear factor".
IMO, the fear factor company "A" has over companies "B-Z" could in essence start a domino effect for our beloved poet chip.
IMO, it's not the positive effect that poet can achieve that will drive the demand for our beloved poet chip, but more the negative impact that our poet chip will have, that is really going to drive the demand.
Like I said before this is just a random thought regarding the meaning of disruptive and would be interested in reading anyone else's opinions on the subject.
tia, glta can't wait till tomorrow.
